Hazel Marshall or "Yang Yang" as she was known by many was a truly special person.  She came from the fields of Oklahoma to the big city of Dallas in the 1940s and never looked back.  She married Joseph Woodrow "J.W." Marshall and had a beautiful daughter, Debra, who was the light of her life.  When they divorced, Hazel went into business for herself founding Hazel’s Hot Shot – now one of the largest expedited freight carriers in Texas.  She was a truly spectacular person who warmed every room and who impacted the lives of thousands of people.  After a brief, but valiant fight with cancer – Hazel went out of this world the same way she lived – with dignity, pride, courage and all on her own terms.  She will be missed dearly by her family.
