Nicholas Nair

August 29, 2001 - April 29, 2022

Nicholas Nair, age 20 from Carrollton-Texas, was most likely to become the next big Broadcast Meteorologist but sadly was taken from us far too soon. He was chasing his dream at a very young age and was a sophomore at the University of Oklahoma majoring in a Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, also minoring in Geographic Information Systems, Broadcast, and Climate Adaption.

Nicholas Nair also known as Nic Nair, wanted to be America’s next Weatherman. He loved standing in front of the green screen at the weather studio where his thoughts have taken the shape of reality. His passion for meteorology and weather showed he was happy and gracious in everything he did, and was the perfect personality to become the next broadcaster. Funnily he said, he dreamt of becoming a singing meteorologist as he was very passionate about music and singing, he was also very involved in OU’s Men’s Glee Club. He was known for his great smile, infectious laugh, random dancing, and perfect singing, best defined as his strength. He was loved by one and all, he was kind-hearted and shared happiness everywhere he was present. His heart-to-heart, friendly hug brought warmth and happiness to many.

We would love to help other students who share the same passion as Nicholas, to grow and fulfill their dreams and passions. This can only be achieved by your generosity and donation to the Nicholas Nair Foundation. We as a family will work hard every day to keep up the Legacy of our child that was taken from the parents too soon, a brother lost forever, and a best friend who will only be remembered.

The Nair Family recently has been through a traumatic event in their life. Our twin son Nicholas Nair a meteorology student from The University of Oklahoma died in a car accident on April 29th, 2022. To overcome this unbearable grief and in search of a path to normalcy, the family wanted Nicholas Nair to be remembered and never forgotten. We decided to bring changes and new beginnings to our lives with Nicholas Nair in our minds, thoughts and prayers as if he never left. Here we are devoting our lives to the better making of the World by Giving and Sharing Love & Kindness.

We want to build a legacy for our son and have started the Nicholas Nair Foundation which will honor 3 student scholarships at The University of Oklahoma (Meteorology Students). Also, honor 3 scholarships at Hebron High School (Choir Students). As a family together we will generate funds to the foundation by working towards Social and Sports events such as tournaments, dining charity, donations, and many more. All this is only possible with the help of friends, family, and the community.
